Long time, no see!

Life update: flying, public speaking, & new licenses.

Hey everyone, it has been a while. I apologize for disappearing. I owe you all a life update:

In April, I was extremely blessed with the opportunity to speak at AZBAA's 2024 Safety Day. This was a huge step outside of my comfort zone, as it entailed speaking in front of a very large network of executives, professionals, and other pilots. A few months prior, the organization's Co-Vice President Alfredo Garcia had reached out about the AZBAA's need for a young pilot to advocate on behalf of the upcoming generation of aviators. I was overwhelmed by the offer at first, but after a conversation with Mr. Garcia, we outlined a speech and got to work on this presentation. It was an amazing event and I am so grateful for the experience/connections/friends that I got to make.

Fast forward about a month; I received word on my commercial checkride date and I was absolutely over-the-moon-excited about that. After months of hard work, time building, uncertainty due to the DPE shortage, and 100 degree days spent in a Cessna 172 with my CFI, the light at the end of the tunnel finally began to appear. We did it guys! The journey so far has had its up's & down's, but it has all been worth it & I am grateful for everything. Thank you so much.
