The future of transportation is here, as the first electric air taxis were unveiled in New York City recently. They could bring clean, quick and quiet commuting to New Yorkers by 2025.
Manufacturer Joby Aviation carried out an exhibition flight of it's "eVTOL" aircraft, short for Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing. This development in New York City marks a significant step towards the integration of electric air taxis into urban transportation. The use of eVTOL aircraft for commuting between city locations and airports could potentially revolutionize the way people travel.
